Cleveland Data Rocks (formerly Cleveland SQL Saturday) is a FREE, 100% volunteer run, training event for data professionals. This event offers high-quality technical training on a variety of data, multi-cloud, and business intelligence solutions.
This is a great opportunity for all data professionals, students, and those wishing to break into the field to engage with their peers and learn from internationally known experts in data, not to mention the great networking opportunities that this in-person event will offer.

Participate in End of Day Raffle – Your Key to Success!
The biggest challenge with community events is capturing contact information for follow ups. Few attendees will have business cards, and having them hand-write their info often leads to data loss due to the inability to read what they wrote! We provide attendees with a set of pre-printed raffle tickets containing their name and email address; they can then put them into the raffle box at each sponsor table to try to win a prize. This gives you 100% readability and 0% loss! It is also more effective than any other technique we’ve seen for trying to capture contact information and that includes scanning their name badge.
Because we want you to be successful, we ask that you include a raffle prize of at least $50 in value. This prize highlights your creativity and involvement in the technical community and can be a significant draw for attendees.
We provide the raffle boxes. We will have one table for all absentee vendors placed in the same areas with our onsite vendors. Raffle ticket collection will proceed through the end of the day. If someone from your team is present we’ll ask them to draw the winning ticket, otherwise we’ll draw the ticket. Attendees must be present to win. If there is a physical prize, we will give it to them, otherwise we will forward you their contact information for you to follow up with (for shipping/delivery information, etc).
After the event we will mail you the attendee information from the raffle tickets from your box so you can follow up. Please note that we cannot share attendee contact information with you unless they have entered your raffle and/or provide explicit permission to do so.
Sponsor Speaker Appreciation Dinner
A thank you dinner for community speakers and volunteers the night before the event. If folks from the sponsor will be in town, they are invited to come as well.
Product Focused Sponsor Session
A dedicated session for featuring your product. A limited number of these sessions will be available.
Event Logistics
Venue doors will open at 7am, one-hour before attendees are expected to arrive.
